Subic Zambales: A look of an American Thing

This is a very opinionated blogpost so bare with me. (Might edit again if I find the inspiration I needed. haha )

Subic is known to be a tourist destination in the country (as I know) offering the beaches and islands in Zambales. A two to three hours drive from the Metro going north can be a perfect weekend getaway for friends and families.

Last June, before summer 2013 ends, we had a company outing in Subic. We stayed at Subic Homes and had a one night off from all the stress and hassle.

I cannot elaborate more of my experience going to Subic. We didn't try any activities rather that bumming our ass off the beach, me being thrown and drown off the water by my office pals. It's a good thing to just be like that once in awhile. I didn't take many pictures at all. I just enjoyed the moment to chill, relax and gossip. LOL! That makes me normal.

I can say that Subic is an escape, but not a perfect getaway unless you try the island hopping and adventures around the area. What I admired in the place though is the look and feel it gives me. On the way, the roads and the view looks like your in another country. The mountains, the trees, the green and brown colors. Oh good God, it's nature.

We had our swimming at Sands of Triboa . It's not an ideal beach place for me cause I've been in such a basic resort before with a more reasonable price ( I guess the cost is another American feel haha ).

Subic Homes, Bataan

and the KAK Team.

So that's pretty much it. If you go to Subic, make sure to plan ahead of time and include the island adventures in your list. Hope Filipinos will also feel that American thing I'm saying. :)
